George plays alongside Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne (melodeon, anglo concertina, vocals) and Lewis Wood (violin, vocals) in English trad folk trio Granny’s Attic, who have honed their skills touring the UK and Europe since 2009. They are much loved by audiences up and down the country, with bookings everywhere from Cambridge Folk Festival to Cecil Sharp House, and live performances on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 3.
Matt Quinn, originally from Brighton and now residing outside Sheffield, is a musician who has spent over half his life performing on the UK folk scene and further afield, from small folk clubs to Glastonbury & WOMAD, and abroad to places including The Netherlands and Iceland.
As a melodeon (diatonic button accordion) player he has been playing for ceilidhs for over 15 years and has developed a bouncy, driving style which brings a great lift to any ceilidh.
